Daintree Rainforest occupies the centrepiece of the last remnant of the oldest surviving rainforest in the world. Recognised for its universal significance and inscribed onto the World Heritage List on the 9th December 1988, Daintree Rainforest is regulated for the highest order of conservation protection possible.

Ecotourism access to Daintree Rainforest is available to members of the public and organisations via a carefully regulated booking system.  Sustainable World Heritage management is fully-funded by user-fees, demonstrating a genuine eco-tourism at no cost to the taxpayer.  Visitors become partners-in-protection whilst experiencing magnificent old-growth rainforest in small, exclusive groups, under the interpretive expertise of long-term inhabitant-guides.  The advantages of such an arrangement, optimize the quality of the rainforest experience and the likelihood of wildlife sightings in natural habitat.
