Daintree Rainforest embraces the only place on Earth where two World Heritage Areas unite!  The coincidence of Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, both irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration, is an astonishing legacy of cultural and natural heritage.  Individually superlative, but taken together – Nature’s Masterpiece!

For the majority of travellers, the Daintree Ferry provides the gateway to the Daintree Rainforest, which contains an astonishing array of world-class tours and attractions that specialise in providing successful engagement with this global treasure.  A diverse range of accommodation houses have been designed and created to enhance the visitor’s experience of being in the Daintree rainforest, ranging from four-star resorts to boutique resorts,  holiday apartments and motels, holiday houses, bed and breakfasts, backpackers hostels and camping grounds. Accommodation is available throughout the Daintree Rainforest; along the Daintree River, at Cape Kimberley, Cow Bay, Cooper Creek, Thornton Beach and Cape Tribulation.

Restaurants and cafes, using local produce and offering delicious cuisine, are set in rainforest, tropical gardens or beachfront locations. The area also includes opportunities to tantalize the tastebuds with rare and exotic fruit, only grown in tropical temperatures or blended into exquisite ice-creams and smoothies, with tastings at various locations. The area also produces it’s own tea and coffee brands, bio-dynamic icecream and vanilla beans, which are available, along with many other goods at the shops within the Daintree Rainforest.
